- Aspiring Timber Frame Carpenter
Aspiring carpenter embarking on a career change. I am about to complete (05.12.22 - 09.12.22) a foundation carpentry course with the Builder Training Centre; https://thebtc.co.uk/brochure/foundation-carpentry-courses/. I know this is not an extensive carpentry course and is not timber frame focused but I am keen to learn and to know what additional training and experience timber frame employers would look for me to attend in order to further advanced my employment opportunities.

- Researching the knowledge of the medieval master carpenter in setting out roofs and buildings
My research into the knowledge of the medieval carpenter in setting out roofs and buildings without using geometry or numeric measurement came about while studying vernacular buildings in Kent and Sussex.
