FRAME 2026
What is FRAME
Frame is the Carpenter’s Fellowship’s annual three-day gathering, bringing together timber framers, designers, builders, students and enthusiasts from across the UK and beyond. It is a unique opportunity to learn, share knowledge and connect with others passionate about traditional and contemporary timber framing.
Across the weekend, Frame combines:
Hands-on demonstrations
Live timber framing demonstrations led by experienced craftspeople.
Talks & Lectures
Presentations and discussions from professionals across the timber community.
Build Together
Collaborative projects and practical knowledge sharing on site.
The Frame Auction
A highlight of the weekend supporting the CF Bursary and future projects.
Community & Connection
Plenty of time to meet, talk, share ideas and build lasting relationships.
Whether you are new to timber framing or deeply experienced, Frame is open to both members and non-members and offers something at every stage of your journey.
Location & History
The Earth Trust — formerly the Northmoor Trust, where CF and the Timber Framers Guild (USA) built the Earth Trust’s office building 21 years ago, designed by Cameron Scott.

Frame Auction
One highlight of the weekend is the Frame Auction, where members and traders generously donate carpentry tools, books and other items to support the CF Bursary and future projects. Bring along one of your surplus tools so the next generation of carpenters can benefit.
