Formerly the Northmoor Trust, where 21 years ago the CF and the Timber Framers Guild (USA) built the Earth Trust’s office building, designed by Cameron Scott.
Building on the successful of Frame 2025, we are putting a call out to all those involved in the original build to come join us.
Also, if you have never been involved in the organising Frame before and can give some time,
- anything from setting up the site to preparing the Frame of the Year display,
- helping behind the bar, organising and recording the auction entries
- giving a lecture, presentation or demonstration, then e-mail us now info@carpentersfellowship.co.uk
NOTE: If you are planning to travel to Frame from abroad then also let us know in advance so we can let you know about local accommodation or perhaps organise a tent. Type OX10 4QZ into the Google Earth search tab to see the location.
Frame auction: One highlight of the weekend is the Auction in which members and traders generously donate carpentry tools, books and other paraphernalia to generate the funds to support the CF Bursary and other deserving CF projects.
Bring along one of those surplus tools you have for the auction so the next generation of carpenters can benefit.

Projects:
- Build a shelter Notice: A project is being organised to be erected at The Earth Trust in the week before Frame.
- This project will take the format of a full 5-day training course, on site at the Earth Trust for those starting out in timber framing to those with some experience but wishing to go to the next level. Participants will camp on site and all food included in the course fee (to be announced)
- With a maximum of 15 places, you may wish to register an interest and be first to receive full details of the course. Send us an email with your contact details and experience (beginner or intermediate)
- Member Project of the year 2026 will be awarded at Frame. (more details to come)
There will be a designated area where entrants will be able to display their projects so make sure you are taking plenty of pictures now.
